The following is a selection of some specific accomplishments of the Casco Bay Estuary Partnership:

• Initiated a coordinated habitat restoration effort and catalyzed on-the-ground projects through seed funding, grant-writing, and technical support.

• Facilitated a 14-municipality interlocal collaboration on the management of stormwater (Interlocal Stormwater Working Group).

• Facilitated the re-opening of over 300 acres of high value habitat through conservation.

• Helped protect over 3,000 acres of high value habitat through conservation.

• Brought expertise on marine invasive species and stormwater management in cold climates to Maine and the region through conferences.

• Compiled and analyzed available data on 14 indicators of the health of Casco Bay to publish a "State of the Bay 2005" report for release at the "State of the Bay 2005" conference on November 3, 2005.
