ESTABLISHING A
SHARED VISION FOR THE PRESUMPSCOT
The goal of Presumpscot 2040 is to establish a shared vision for a more free-flowing natural Presumpscot River from Sebago to the sea with more sea-run fish, cleaner water, and an abundance of nature-based recreation.
We invite you to complete the Friends of the Presumpscot’s Public Perspectives Survey to help us learn more about the public’s relationship with the Presumpscot.
PRESUMPSCOT 2040 Visioning Session
We had a packed house in the Westbrook Community Center on Monday, Feb 2, 2026 for a visioning session on the Presumpscot’s future! Folks from around the region shared input on water quality, fish habitats, community development, and more. We will share what we learned soon on this site.
Here is a great article about the event by Abby Wilson, published in the Windham Eagle.
